What we do

We publish a scenario calculator and buying guides. We are not an installer, do not issue installation quotes and cannot establish whether a particular home or electrical system is technically suitable. The About page explains the model and its limits.

Editorial and calculation independence

A commercial partner cannot set the calculation formulae, user-selectable defaults, scenario order or results, or hide unfavourable outcomes. The calculator can show negative net present value, negative net saving or no payback within the analysis period. A partner may flag a possible factual error; we assess evidence before changing a claim.

We do not sell favourable conclusions, product ranking positions or changes to calculation results. This independence does not mean we could never have a financial incentive. Future commercial links, if introduced, might cover only available partners and must not be described as a comparison of the whole market.

Sources and examples

Product details in our product guides come from named manufacturer documents. We use suitable primary sources for other external claims. We distinguish a manufacturer's statement from our own model calculation, a user's input and a hypothetical example. A manufacturer's marketing claim does not establish savings for your home.

A guide's “sources checked” date records when its cited material was checked. It does not promise automatic monitoring of later changes. Our guides analyse documents and use illustrative calculations; they are not hands-on installation or product tests.

AI-assisted work

We may use AI-assisted tools for background research, drafting and supporting checks. An AI response is not a source or an independent human or qualified energy expert review. Fluidified remains responsible for what we publish.

Commercial links

No affiliate links, sponsored placements or affiliate tracking are introduced on this site at present. If we later publish commercial links or related advertising content, we will identify them clearly where they appear and explain how we may be paid. This policy alone would not make future advertising sufficiently identifiable in its own context. See our Privacy page for current analytics and data handling.

Corrections

To report an error, email [email protected] with the page address, the passage in question and any supporting source. Please do not send private calculator inputs or sensitive information. When we make a significant factual correction to a guide, we will explain it alongside that guide.
